Information Covered by this Statement

Our Policy applies to all nonpublic personally identifiable information and all information provided to or obtained by Cartus resulting from any application for or transaction involving a financial product or service (“nonpublic information”). Examples of nonpublic information are social security numbers, addresses, account numbers and balances, and credit history. Our Policy will continue to cover information we may collect about you during the course of our relationship as well as after the relationship has ended.

Gathered Information

Throughout the relocation process, nonpublic information about you and your family is gathered from numerous sources such as your employer, your applications, title companies, your browser, credit reporting agencies, business partners, and suppliers.

Use of Information

We share nonpublic information with affiliated and non-affiliated companies that perform services on our behalf for your benefit. These companies contractually agree to keep nonpublic information confidential and use it only for its intended purposes. Periodically, we are required to disclose nonpublic information to other third parties such as credit reporting agencies and federal and state regulators.

Affiliated Companies

To better serve your needs, we have partnered with companies that provide essential services necessary to relocate you and your family. We share nonpublic information with these companies as permitted by law.

Non-Affiliated Companies

You may limit our ability to share nonpublic information with non-affiliated companies. This is called “opting out.” If you do not want your nonpublic information shared, please complete the form located at Please know, however, that if you choose to opt out, we may be unable to administer your company’s program, thereby limiting your relocation benefit.


To protect your nonpublic personal information on the Internet, we have put in place data-encryption technology. For nonpublic information not contained on the Internet, we have implemented administrative, technical and physical safeguards, and quality controls such as: setting internal policies and procedures for regulating the handling of your information by employees and third parties; contractually requiring our suppliers and affiliated companies to adhere to privacy laws; and regularly evaluating our security policies and procedures.
