Primacy Relocation Enters into an Agreement to Acquire Pacific Relocations
Primacy has entered into an agreement to acquire Pacific Relocations, subject to Government approvals. This agreement further strengthens Primacy operations in Hong Kong and Shanghai while establishing six locations in China to include Beijing, Dalian, Fuzhou, Guangzhou, Quanzhou, and Xiamen. In addition to the increased regional presence and enhanced client portfolio, this agreement also brings a significant number of experienced relocation professionals to the existing Primacy team. Primacy selected Pacific Relocations for its quality reputation, recognizable client portfolio, and presence in China.

The new locations will report to Clare Williams, GMS, Senior Vice President of Asia Operations. Based in Primacy’s Singapore office, Williams is responsible for destination services in Asia, which include overseeing operational quality, as well as ensuring customer retention and satisfaction. Michelle Li and Ivan Chan, the two principal managers of Pacific Relocations, will continue to be part of the senior leadership team and equity owners in the future entity, helping build on Primacy’s expansion plans in the region.
Pacific Relocations was founded in 1989. With coverage in more than 15 cities within China, Pacific Relocations has served more than 3,000 transferees, attracted and retained an impressive talent pool, and established a quality reputation in the Asia market.
Primacy began its Asia presence with a representative office in Shanghai, and in September 2006, became a Wholly Owned Foreign Service Company. In January 2007, Primacy opened an office in Hong Kong, which serves as headquarters for Primacy Asia. In September 2007, Primacy opened its newest office in Singapore.
